The Role — Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you’ll help our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing in their own homes by providing:
- Personal care, mobility assistance, and help with daily household tasks
- Social support and encouragement to participate in community and wellness activities
- Safe transportation to appointments and social outings (paid mileage provided)
- Regular updates to your Team Leader on client needs and progress
Skills And Experiences
About You — Who We’re Looking For
You’re a caring, motivated individual with:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services (or current Nursing student with completed Aged Care placements)
- Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services
- Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
- A genuine passion for supporting older people with empathy and respect
- A current Driver’s License and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle suitable to transport elderly clients
- A current satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- COVID 19 vaccination and influenza vaccination encouraged
