What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to our residents’ needs
  • Cater for texture-modified diets (IDDSI framework) and special dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide an exceptional dining experience
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members


Skills And Experiences

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Cook or Catering Assistant (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
  • Understanding of IDDSI and texture-modified diets
  • MBRC Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain through BallyCara)
  • Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
