The Role

We’re seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our friendly team at BallyCara’s Scarborough Village of Friends, supporting residents across our two Residential Aged Care facilities – Sunnyside Villa and Hibernian Villa.

Positions available: Permanent Part-Time & Casual
Shifts: Afternoon and night shifts are especially desirable

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on personal care including hygiene, mobility, and daily living support
• Assist residents with meals, social engagement, and emotional wellbeing
• Follow care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ health and behaviour
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment

You may also assist our Leisure & Lifestyle, Hospitality, or Allied Health teams to provide seamless, person-centred care.

About You

You’re empathetic, dependable, and passionate about helping others. You value teamwork and take pride in supporting residents to live their best lives.

What you’ll bring:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Previous experience in aged care (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Physical and emotional capacity to meet the role’s demands
• Basic computer literacy for documentation

Position Requirements

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian working rights
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations (encouraged)
