About the role
As a Village Concierge, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the village while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and their families. Whether you're transporting residents to appointments, assisting with outings, setting up community events or simply brightening someone's day with a friendly conversation, you'll play an important role in inspiring healthy and happy living.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting residents using the village bus, boat and other BallyCara vehicles
- Supporting resident outings, events and community activities
- Escorting residents to appointments and providing personalised assistance
- Assisting with the setup and pack down of village functions and events
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing required maintenance records
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Village General Manager
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
Skills And Experiences
About You
You're someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in providing outstanding service and thrives in a role where no two days are the same.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a customer service, concierge, community support or similar role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Confidence working independently while also being a valued team member
- A genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences for older Australians
Essential Requirements
- Current MR Driver's Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
