Help make BallyCara a place our residents are proud to call home!
No two days are quite the same, but your role will include:
- Keeping resident rooms fresh, clean and comfortable.
- Making shared spaces sparkle, including lounges, bathrooms, offices and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Assisting with our in-house laundry, including washing, sorting and distributing linen.
- Replenishing supplies and ensuring everything is ready for the day.
- Following infection prevention and control procedures.
- Using cleaning equipment, chemicals and PPE safely.
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Sharing a friendly smile and treating every resident with kindness and respect.
You'll be part of a team that understands housekeeping isn't just a task to complete. It's an important part of someone's everyday comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
Skills And Experiences

We're looking for someone who shows up, gets stuck in, takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing a great job.

- Have experience in cleaning, housekeeping or a similar hands-on role.
- Are dependable, punctual and ready to contribute.
- Have an eye for detail and enjoy seeing the results of your hard work.
- Can work independently while being a great team player.
- Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- Are friendly, respectful and comfortable working around older people.
- Can confidently manage the physical demands of a busy housekeeping role.
An understanding of infection control practices would also be an advantage.
