Are you passionate about supporting older adults to live independently and with dignity in their own homes?
BallyCara is looking for compassionate and dedicated Qualified Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing team.
This rewarding role involves providing in-home support to seniors living across Bribie Island, Caboolture, and Morayfield. We are currently seeking team members who are available through to 6:00 pm, to ensure we can meet the needs of our clients in these areas.
Deliver personal care and assist with mobility and daily living activities
Support clients with light household tasks and meal preparation
Provide social support and encourage participation in wellness and community activities
Communicate effectively with your Team Leader about client needs and any changes in care
Assist with transportation to appointments and social outings
Travel between client homes in Bribie Island, Caboolture and Morayfield (paid mileage included)
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services
(Current nursing students who have completed Aged Care placements are also welcome to apply)
Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services
Flexible availability Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 6:00 pm)
Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail in documentation
The ability to work independently while staying connected with a supportive team
A warm, patient, and empathetic approach to ageing
A valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Evidence of two COVID-19 vaccinations
