Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our client. The ideal candidate should be proficient in electrical installation and maintenance, with a strong understanding of fit-out projects and possess relevant qualifications such as 18th edition and JIB gold card. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints
• Perform general electrical maintenance
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
• Comply with all safety and quality standards and regulations

Day-to-day

• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure electrical systems are in compliance with relevant regulations
• Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints
• Adhering to safety and quality standards in all work conducted

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician
• 18th edition qualification
• JIB gold card
• A strong understanding of fit-out projects
• Ability to work well in a team
• Good physical condition and flexibility
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
