A thriving Accountancy Practice based in Scarborough or Bridlington is on the lookout for an experienced Tax Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £60,000 to £70,000 alongside some brilliant benefits and flexibility, including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), salary sacrifice benefits, bonus, professional subscriptions, and further.

In this Tax Specialist role, you will be:

• Managing your own portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Delivering proactive tax advice that makes a real impact
• Leading on compliance matters and keeping everything HMRC-ready
• Mentoring junior colleagues and sharing your expertise
• Building lasting relationships with loyal, long-standing clients
• Spotting opportunities for clients to be more tax-efficient

To thrive in this Tax Specialist role, you’ll ideally have:

• Solid tax legislation knowledge and experience in a practice setting (essential)
• An accountancy or tax qualification (ACA/ACCA/CTA) or strong equivalent experience (QBE)
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
• A sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach
• Confidence to lead and support others
