Overview

My client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential refurbishment project based just outside of Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed on schedule. Day-to-day

• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing on-site personnel and addressing any issues or concerns
• Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Communicating with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress
• Implementing and enforcing site policies and procedures
• Identifying and resolving any challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timeline and budget
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Manage construction personnel and ensure a productive and efficient work environment
• Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any issues that may arise
• Implement and enforce site policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to streamline operations and improve project efficiency
• Proactively identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential refurbishment projects
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a plus
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum
