Scarborough area | £50,000 - £55,000 FTE (pro rata) | 3 to 4 days

Are you a Finance Manager looking for a part-time role where you can take full ownership of finance and work closely with senior leadership?

This Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to lead the finance function for a well-established manufacturing business, part of a larger international group. You will be the key finance contact on site, supporting performance, reporting and decision making.

The Finance Manager role

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the full finance function, combining management accounts, reporting and day-to-day finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with clear financial insight
• Monitor financial performance and support business decision making
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure VAT compliance and statutory reporting accuracy
• Support payroll and expenses processes
• Work closely with operational teams across the business
• Act as the main contact for auditors and external partners
• Improve finance processes and controls

About you

To be successful in this Finance Manager role, you will have:

• Experience producing management accounts
• Strong understanding of finance processes and controls
• Experience in a standalone Finance Manager or similar role
• Confidence working with stakeholders across a business
• Experience using Sage or similar accounting software
• Strong Excel skills

Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
